About this course
Roper Park West is Lincoln's flagship disc golf course, set in a well-kept park with playground, creek hazards, and a mix of open and gently rolling terrain. The 2018 redesign trimmed the old 27-hole layout to a tighter 18 with three tee positions — short (red), medium (blue), and long (gold) — making it playable for beginners and pros alike.
The creek runs through the course and comes into play on several holes, adding a layer of shot-shaping strategy to what would otherwise be a grip-and-rip layout. Long open fairways are a big arm's dream, while the scattered trees and elevation changes keep things from feeling like a practice field.
There's a second course on the east side of the park if 18 isn't enough — the two layouts share the park and make for a full day of disc golf.
